A science fiction novella that follows the first manned mission to Mars.

Days before they're scheduled to arrive in Martian orbit, a problem with the lander threatens the lives of the six-person crew and the success of their mission. But even as international politics and limited resources ruthlessly narrow their options, and despite the insistent distractions of long-neglected tensions and badly-timed crushes in close quarters, the crew struggles as a team to make repairs and find a new path to the surface.
